Map out the best of Montana
We might be biased but we found Montana’s best kept secret hidden the the mountains of Paradise Valley. Between the iconic town of Livingston and the north entrance to Yellowstone National Park there are a lot of hidden gems worth stopping to see. Along Hwy 89 is the scenic drive that hugs the Yellowstone River with breathtaking views of the Absaroka Mountain range.
Some of our favorites stops are a hike up to Pine Creek Falls and Pine Creek Lake, Pine Creek Lodge for brunch and summer music concerts, and
The El Coyote at Peace of Paradise where you can host your own party with a private speakeasy bar and dining al fresco under an authentic nordic tipi.
While you're driving be sure to stop at the legendary Old Saloon for a drink and some live music, or dine, horseback ride and soak in natural hot-springs at Chico Hot Springs Resort. Take in the views and dine at Sage Lodge, take a tour of a working film lot at The Yellowstone Film Ranch, and after a long day just before arriving at Yellowstone National Park relax at the Yellowstone Hot Springs to unwind in warm waters and melt away your worries..
